Truly, deciding what you want is probably the hardest part! The actual custom fit and welding process is pretty quick and will take around 5-10 minutes depending on what you get.
-
No, absolutely not! We ensure the size of the chain is a perfect fit for our customers. When we weld the bracelet, it doesn’t even touch your skin. We believe the safety of our customers is our priority and will use protective leather strips as an additional barrier.
-
Permanent jewelry has really become popular in the last few years. As a customer, you have the freedom to be as creative as you want in selecting a bracelet, necklace, anklets or rings.
Once the selection has been made, your jewelry is welded right onto you so there is no clasp to mess with. There is zero pain on your end whatsoever!
The best part? You leave with a piece that is custom fitted to you and you’re able to personalize it to make it your own.

We use 14k solid gold, 14k gold-filled, sterling silver and stainless steel. Depending on what our customers are searching for, we are here to help you decide which type of chains fits your lifestyle.
-
Absolutely! We’ve got you covered.
If welded permanent jewelry is something you hesitate to purchase, we can easily add a clasp so that you are able to take your jewelry on and off.
It’s also ok to change your mind!
If you get a custom piece welded and would like to add a clasp, we can easily make that adjustment!
-
If for any reason you want to remove your jewelry, simply cut it off with scissors, wire cutters or nail clippers. We suggest cutting it where the connecting link is so that you can save your chain. We would be happy to reweld it in the future if you ever want to!
-
Yes! You can keep your permanent jewelry on while going through airport security.
-
This is one of the single most important things to understand when considering permanent jewelry!
As with anything, the market is saturated with various types of chains to select from. There are too many “cheaper” options that customers purchase and believe they are getting the best. Trust me when I say, you get what you pay for! Permanent jewelry is an investment!
We took our time and thoroughly vetted the highest quality jewelry manufacturers because we want our custom pieces to last! We will not compromise quality for our customers.
-
The minimalist appearance and ease of wearing permanent jewelry makes it the perfect choice for everyday wear. Despite the fact that you do not take it on and off each day, they are still delicate pieces of jewelry that can break.
Should your bracelet, anklet or necklace:
Get caught on something
Break
Stretch
Visit us at a pop-up, book an appointment or send an email for a Permanent Jewelry Adjustment! If we are unable to repair the chain or you want a different style chain, we will offer you a discount to replace the chain.
Rosie Ruth is not liable for lost chains. Permanent jewelry or custom pieces are final sale.
-
No! We have several chain and bangle options that males will love. This is something you can share with anyone.
Product FAQs
-
Gold-Plated Jewelry contains a very thin layer of gold over a base metal (usually brass or copper). The piece is dipped in essentially a gold bath. The amount of gold is about .05%. This means the jewelry will not hold up over time when exposed to water, heat, chemicals, etc. The layer is so small that it exposes the skin to the base metal meaning it’s not hypoallergenic for those with metal allergies. It’s the lowest cost of gold jewelry available. We do not carry any gold-plated pieces for this reason.
Gold-Filled Jewelry has almost 100x more gold than plated does. The gold is bonded to the base metal instead of plated so it can’t rub off. It does not expose the skin to the base metal making it hypoallergenic. The layer of gold is thick enough to make it perfect for everyday wear, and since it’s not solid gold, the price point is much more affordable. If you take care of your gold-filled pieces, they can last a lifetime! The majority of our products will be gold-filled!
-
Our standard fit bracelet works for the majority of our customers, but we always want you to have something that is comfortable for you! This is the biggest advantage of permanent jewelry because we can custom size to what works best for you!
Similar to Permanent Jewelry, Permanent Bangles are sized for your perfect fit! With a measuring tape, we will show you the two bangles that will provide a more fitted option and loose option. You will also need to consider if you want to add additional chains etc. Stack em’ up!

Keep it Clean
Gently clean your jewelry with mild soap and water, then pat dry with a soft cloth regularly
Avoid Harsh Products
Take care around lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products. These can dull the shine or damage the finish over time.
Everyday Strong, But Still Delicate
Your piece is welded to last, but it’s still fine jewelry. Avoid excessive tugging, pulling, or impact that may cause it to stretch or break when possible.
Water-Safe, But Be Mindful
Your jewelry is safe for showers, pools, and oceans. However, chlorine, salt water, and hot tubs may speed up wear, especially on gold-filled or sterling silver.
Tarnish Happens
If your piece is gold-plated, sterling silver, or gold filled, it may naturally tarnish over time. this is normal and can be polished with a jewelry cloth.
Check it Occasionally
Look at your jump ring from time to time to ensure its secure. if you ever notice an issue, reach out for a quick fix!
