Honoring Faith, Family and Legacy
I’ve been blessed, all my life, to be surrounded by strong, hardworking individuals who taught me the importance of building a meaningful foundation—both for myself and in honor of those who came before me. My parents, raised with these same values, planted the seeds that has grown into my passion: Rosie Ruth, a business named after two extraordinary women who shaped my life—Ms. Rose and Ms. Ruth, my beloved grandmothers. Although both have passed, the legacy they’ve left behind continues to live on in me.
As I near my 40s, I deeply appreciate the faith, hope, love and strength that they both instilled in me. They showed me the true essence of family values and living quietly from the heart. Much of their influence have given me the strength to face whatever life may bring.
My journey toward creating my legacy hasn’t been without obstacles. I’ve faced challenges in both career and childhood battles, while also confronting relationships that no longer served my wellbeing. But through it all, my faith has grown stronger, and I’ve been surrounded by love. One of my biggest blessings, my husband, believes in me and lifts me up each and every day. I could not even imagine a world without him by my side cheering me on!
So how did my journey lead me to Permanent Jewelry? Well, two and a half years ago, in one of my lowest moments, my sister convinced me to visit a holiday market. Though I was reluctant, I went—and that day, I discovered permanent jewelry. We both got bracelets, and the permanence of never taking them off became a silent, powerful reminder to keep going. It sparked a passion in me that I wanted more.
Over the next two years—through reflection, research, and prayer —I stepped further into exactly what that spark meant. Although I’m a dedicated leader in healthcare, and love my job, I realized that owning my own business had been my dream all along, but I was scared. Then in February, while talking with my husband about life in general and the challenges that come with owning his own business and nonprofit, he looked me in the eye and said, “I guess I’m just going to have to have enough faith to know God will make this work.” His simple, yet profound words, gave me that mustard seed of faith that was needed to overcome my fear. His unwavering strength and profound faith were also built upon the foundation laid by his family—especially his remarkable mother.
I soon gathered all the tools and equipment I needed, preparing to bring my vision to life. That’s why Rosie Ruth is more than another permanent jewelry company—it’s a tribute to my legacy’s faith, hope, love, and strength. It embodies the values my family—and especially my grandmas—have passed down. Each piece is crafted to be a little keepsake of love, a reminder of inner strength and faith.
My hope is that Rosie Ruth touches your life the way my grandmas touched mine, creating beautiful memories for you and your loved ones. As my Grandma Rose ended every handwritten letter, “Love ya bunches.”
This is how their legacy continues…
